This product contains an extract of Coleus forskohlii, a hydroxycitric acid extract naturally found in Gardenia Cambodia fruit.  Each of these ingredients has been shown to promote healthy energy utilization, especially when combined with a balanced diet and exercise program. L-Carnitine a non-essential amino acid, facilitates the transfer of fats into the mitochondrial membrane for use in cellular energy production.  To complete the formula, the product includes essential nutrients and green tea extract for metabolic support.*

Scientific studies (multiple meta-analyses) show Green Tea Extract (Catechins) significantly decreased body weight by 2.9 pounds, and reduced waste circumference by 2.1 cm, over 8-12 weeks of use. The effect was less for people who are high consumers of caffeine (>300 mg per day)., especially after 8 weeks of use.*  Also, systematic review found that Coleus forskohlii, a relative of the mint family, has lipolytic effects and showed favorable changes in body composition by significantly decreasing body fat percentage (BF%) and fat mass (FM) if taken over 12 weeks.*
